Sentence Structure


this week we are working on sentence structure. Sentence structure is how different sentences are written.

We had to listen to a book called our magic beach. Then we had to do a work sheet and colour in what’s happening in

the sentence green and who or what red and when, where or how blue.

This week was NAIDOC week. NAIDOC stands for national aborigines and islanders day observance committee.Over the week we were working on aboriginal work, we have been working on pavers with rocks that tell you a story, aboriginals used different signs to tell a story.

we also have been working on mutton birds, another name for a mutton bird is moon bird or shearwater we learnt that mutton birds travel from Tasmania  and around Australia and always return to the same burrow.

A group of mutton  birds  burrows are called a rookery.

We had done some work on dream time stDSCN0243ories too we listened to a story of why the crow is black, aboriginals made up dream time stories and is normally about animals.
