Hi 2/3 bloggers!
Here is the video explaining blogging and some of the terms used, which Sue posted a link to. Hopefully I have done this correctly and the video will show in our feed!
A blog is an online space where you can share your thoughts and ideas with the world, Logan. You can post writing, photos, movies and links to others websites (so it will be handy for online research as I will be able to post links to good websites). Blogs are also sometimes call web logs.
If you look on the right hand side of the screen and scroll down you will see a link called ‘Overseas Classes’. There is one over seas class blog which you can look at right now, however if you look at some of the ‘Tassie Classes’ (underneath the overseas classes link) you might find some links to other overseas class blogs in their blogs.
You can change the way your blog looks by clicking on the ‘Appearance’ link on the left hand side of your blog. ‘customize’ button. We will learn more about that soon.
You can change your sidebars by clicking on Appearance and then widgets . Here you can add widgets to your sidebar or remove them by clicking on them and then clicking remove.
Welcome to your brand new blog at eLearning Tasmania.
You can also subscribe to the brilliant free publication, The Edublogger, which is jammed with helpful tips, ideas and more.
