Moon Phases

We have been learning about the moon phases. When the moon is lit up by the sun we can see that part of the moon.

these are some of the moon phases we learnt about like new moon, waxing gibbous, full moon, first quarter, last quarter, waning crescent waning gibbous.

Tadpoles

This week got some class pets!  They are going to go through metamorphosis.

“This means that they change into frogs from tadpoles” (Jack P.)

“Butterflies go through metamorphosis and they change from a caterpillar to a butterfly” (Mckenzie)

“They are not born like their parents and they change through metamorphosis” (Matilda)

“They will grow up to look like their parents” (Lily)

“They are vertebrates.  They are animals that have a backbone/spine” (Monique)

“Invertebrates have no spine and one is a spider” (Logan S.)

“Tadpoles end up as frogs” (Lucy)
