Grey Wolf

Hi Guys,

Today I will be telling you about the grey wolf also known as the gray, timber or western wolf. The grey wolves are probably one of the most known and common wolves.

They live in North America and in Euraisa ( Europe and Asia). They live and hunt in packs which helps when hunting their food. They are carnivores which means that they eat meat.

The males average weight is usually 43-45 Kg and the females 35-39 Kg. They are mammals which means that they don’t lay eggs and feed their pups milk. When the mother has pups she will normally have 4-6 in a litter.

Their long fur is a really important feature that helps them to keep warm in really cold winters. Their colour of their fur can be different. The colour of them is normally grey but they can turn out to be either red, brown, white or black.

I hope that this has given you a better idea on the Grey Wolf! 🙂

I would also like to thank Wikipedia for some of the information 😀
