I’m getting into practice for Hour of Code in December
Here is my picture with Elsa
At level 9, this was my picture.
Puzzle 12 and it is starting to look like a snowflake.
Wow by puzzle 15, I have added circles.
Puzzle 17, overlapping circles and changing colours.
Nearly finished, I made 8 snowflake branches.
I then created a winter wonderland with this code
drawSnowflake(‘square’);penColour(colour_random());
turnRight(90);
jumpForward(120);
drawSnowflake(‘parallelogram’);penColour(colour_random());
turnRight(90);
jumpForward(150);
drawSnowflake(‘line’);penColour(colour_random());
turnRight(90);
jumpForward(120);
drawSnowflake(‘fractal’);penColour(colour_random());
jumpForward(150);
drawSnowflake(‘flower’);penColour(colour_random());
turnRight(90);
jumpForward(150);
drawSnowflake(‘spiral’);
This is the drawing it made:
Here is a link to the website where you can do lots of coding activities.
Which coding activity did you do?
Hi Miss. W I have a question we are researching prison island have you ever been there?
I left an answer on Amirah’s blog. But thanks for the question Abbie.
Hello Miss W, my name is Amirah.I have recently been researching Prison Island that is in Australia. Since you live in Australia I was wondering have you ever been to Prison Island or know anything about it. If so please comment on my blog at http://abellami.edublogs.org/
Dear Mrs.W,
It’s me, Sofia!! I love how you did the snowflakes, they are so beautiful and I wish I can do it like you can. Did you do these snow flakes in one day? Someday, I’m going to do it just like you.

Hi Sofia,
I left an answer on one of your blog posts. Thanks for commenting here. Have a go at the Anna and Elsa program and see if you can make the snowflakes too.
Dear Miss. W,
nice pictures. I like hour of code, but I haven’t played that game “yet.” What inspired you to code. Please reply on one of my blogs at

He Deriyus,
I left an answer on your blog. Since writing this post I have done hour of code with three classes using the Anna and Elsa program. Some students have then tried the other activities as well.
Dear Mrs. W,
Hello! It’s Ricky again. I really like your snowflakes. That must have took a lot of time. I would have never been able to do that on Hour of Code. Fun Fact: I know this is totally random but I am part Norwegian. Anyway, I think that drawing is amazing.
